Safe use of wire rope for electric hoist with wire rope

The steel wire rope is an important component of the steel wire rope electric hoist. In order to extend the service life of the equipment and accelerate work efficiency, we need to master appropriate methods to protect and maintain the steel wire rope. When lifting heavy objects with a wire rope electric hoist, the staff should operate according to the required specifications in order to reduce equipment damage and extend the service life of the equipment.

1. Use within the designated lifting range and do not overload at will, as this may result in wire rope breakage;

2. Keep the steel wire rope smooth and use it in a twisted state to prevent deformation or even breakage of the steel wire rope;

3. Choose the appropriate steel wire rope for use according to the working environment and work intensity;

4. Choose the largest possible drum for the electric hoist. As the diameter of the drum increases, the bending degree of the steel wire rope decreases, which can reduce the breakage of the steel wire rope;

5. Properly lubricating the steel wire rope and maintaining surface lubrication of the steel wire and pulley at all times can reduce the wear of the steel wire rope.
