What is gravity load

The gravity load of the electric chain hoist includes two main parts: self weight load and lifting load.

The self weight load includes the gravity load of the metal structure, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, etc. of the crane (excluding lifting load). The mode of action of the load and the simplified mechanical model can be considered separately. In general, the mechanical and electrical equipment of the crane can be regarded as concentrated loads acting on the center of the equipment installation position. The self importance of the truss is the concentrated load acting on the structural nodes, and the self weight of the box structure is treated as a uniformly distributed load.

The lifting load refers to the weight of all lifting masses, including the maximum effective object allowed for lifting, lifting devices, suspension flexible components, and the weight of other equipment during lifting. When the lifting height is less than 50 meters, the weight of the lifting wire rope can be disregarded. When the loop chain electric hoist is in a non moving static state, that is, when the loop chain electric hoist is not working, or when the lifting motion stops and is suspended in the air, or when the loop chain electric hoist is in a stable and uniform motion state, the self weight load and lifting load of the loop chain electric hoist can be treated as static loads.
