Which components of the wire rope electric hoist are key protected objects

Source:China Kaitaer Official Website    Release date:2024-10-12

Wire rope electric hoists are very common in factory workshops, construction industry, and lifting and hoisting work, and their application places are becoming more and more extensive. However, they are essential in all aspects. The electric hoists used in these occasions do not have significant differences in working principles, component structures, etc. Therefore, when maintaining and servicing electric hoists, it is necessary to pay special attention to the following components:

Wire rope electric hoist

1. Steel wire rope. The steel wire rope is a severely worn part during the lifting and lowering process of heavy objects. We need to regularly check the strength of the steel wire rope and add lubricating oil to it regularly;

2. Roll. The drum is an important protective component of the steel wire rope, which is related to whether the steel wire rope can stretch and arrange normally. Once there is compression, bending, and twisting pressure, it should be scrapped to eliminate safety hazards.

3. Motor and brake. The motor is the power source of the wire rope electric hoist, and the brake is the braking device of the electric hoist in case of emergencies, which is related to whether the electric hoist can lift the weight normally and safely.

4. Reducer. The reducer needs to be regularly lubricated and replaced with lubricating oil, otherwise it will not only produce excessive "buzzing" sound, but also excessively wear or damage the gears or bearings. If the gear of the reducer is excessively worn or damaged, or if the bearing of the reducer is damaged, it needs to be dismantled, repaired or replaced immediately to eliminate the fault and reduce noise.
