Selection of lifting points for chain hoists

When using a chain hoist to lift heavy objects, the selection of the lifting point is crucial and directly affects the safety of the lifting operation. How to choose the lifting point for heavy objects and what precautions should be taken?

Find the center of gravity. When carrying out lifting operations, the selection of the lower hook must be based on the center of gravity of the lifting object, so as to ensure that the lifting object can rise smoothly and safely to the required height during the lifting operation.

Find balance. Some lifting objects come with lifting ears. What should be done when there are no lifting ears and the center of gravity of the lifting object cannot be found? You can choose to use the lasso method to fix the lifting object with a lasso, and then fix the hook on the lasso to complete the lifting operation.

Trial lifting method. If the above two methods still cannot help you solve the problem, you can only try lifting, find the approximate position of the center of gravity, and try lifting again and again until the heavy object is lifted smoothly.
