Why is it said that bearings are the backbone of lifting tackle
Source:China Kaitaer Official Website Release date:2024-08-31
The components of a crane pulley mainly include pulleys, bearings, baffles, and hooks. Although the structure of a crane pulley may seem simple, each component plays an important role, whether it is the hook, pulley, or baffle. We have talked about it many times before, and today we will talk about the most overlooked part of the crane pulley, the bearing.
The bearing of the lifting pulley is located in an extremely inconspicuous position. If you don't look closely, you may have overlooked its existence. It is located between two baffles, crossing the center of the pulley and fixed on both sides of the baffles. Although this position is inconspicuous, it is indeed the backbone of the entire lifting pulley.
The role of bearings in lifting pulleys is irreplaceable. Firstly, their fixing function. Without the presence of bearings, the pulley cannot be stably fixed in the middle of the baffle, and therefore cannot operate normally. Secondly, the bearing is linked to the pulley to rotate, and under the support and transmission of the bearing, the pulley can rotate stably. The reason why the pulley does not deviate during the entire rotation process cannot be separated from the role played by the bearing.
So it is not an exaggeration to say that bearings are the backbone of the entire lifting pulley, and it is their existence that ensures the stable operation of the lifting pulley.
